Scott Samson - Manager

Scott Samson has been with the company on and off since 2002 and is proud to be the Manager of the newest of the Fantasy Shop Locations in South County. He's worked at 2 locations as a clerk in the past and was the Manager of the O'Fallon/Fairview Heights, IL store before it was sold in 2008.

He is also one of the co-creators and co-hosts of The ComicDorksCast podcast.

Sammie Stanley - Clerk

Sammie Stanley is the Senior Clerk at the Fantasy Shop South County. An X-Men fanatic since a young age she'll gladly squee with you about any of your favorite characters from the series, new or old. She's also perhaps one of the world's preeminent Supernatural fan (She doesn't have a favorite character and if you do then she will assure you that you are, in fact, watching it wrong). She's also a big fan of Dominion and other great deck building games and board games (like the D&D Board Games). She was a college student and a starving artist for a while so she's always looking for recommendations of things she might have missed out on the last few years!

And if you want her opinion on D&D 4th edition don't be surprised when she tells you it's great and she loves it.

Josh Soto - Clerk

Josh is the newest clerk at the South County location. He is also the youngest person currently employed by The Fantasy Shop. He likes comics. A lot. For real. His favorites are Batgirl (Barbara Gordon mostly but he was totally thrilled with the Stephanie Brown run by Bryan Q. Miller), Batwoman, and, above all, Morning Glories. He takes great pride in having read the week's new books before we open on Wednesday and is thus a great source of knowledge on what to check out when you come in on New Comic Book Day. He is getting more into gaming, mostly board games (but he's also playing in the Wednesday Night Encounters and is enjoying D&D 4th Edition).

He's also trying to lose 3 pounds.
