The Blackest Night Seems a Whole Lot More Colorful Lately

It started with Doom Patrol and then followed with REBELS and Booster Gold ... The Rings have begun their arrivals. And while the books may be sold out and on their way to a quick 2nd printing that doesn't mean that the rings that have made them the hottest thing since sliced bread are gone as well. As a matter of fact each of our store still have plenty of the rings for anyone who is interested in getting their hands on them (and you know deep down you want to get your fingers full of rings). Currently available are the Orange, Indigo, and Yellow rings but with tomorrows release of Adventure Comics and Outsiders the Blue and Violet rings will also be available. Each store has plenty of the rings and are taking names for subsequent publishings of each of the attached comics as they will likely also be in high demand, as have all of the recent issues tied in with The Blackest Night event.

The overall sales chart for last month certainly gives credence to the way that they have been building anticipation for this event since the conclusion of the Sinestro Corps War in 2007 and the kind of excitement that the fans have been building up within themselves as the War of Light has been ratcheting up through the roof. Just take a look at the Top 6 books from October for the entire industry*:

1 BLACKEST NIGHT #4  DC
2 BATMAN AND ROBIN #5  DC
3 GREEN LANTERN #47  DC
4 BLACKEST NIGHT: BATMAN #3  DC
5 GREEN LANTERN CORPS #41 DC
6 BLACKEST NIGHT: SUPERMAN #3  DC
